Taekwondo Enlistment and Orientation:
Our sports program saw an exciting surge in growth this March during our official enlistment and orientation day. We are proud to welcome 39 new students from West Crame Elementary School, alongside 9 dedicated Right Start kids who renewed their commitment to the discipline.
Parent Effectiveness Seminar:
Ten (10) parents joined our seminar, Designed for Devotion: Strengthening the Heart of the Home, to discuss effective parenting and communication. Despite coming from different beliefs, participants actively shared ideas and emphasized the importance of respect and unity in the family.

World Storytelling Day:
On March 27, we celebrated the power of narrative with a day of classic stories and games for the children. While the kids played, parents held their own session to share their personal stories and experiences as part of the Right Start community.
Livelihood: Skills Identification:
Dr. Michael served as the resource person for an interactive session where 13 community members worked to identify their unique talents. The workshop helped participants align their personal interests with potential income-generating activities to help secure their future.

OSAEC Awareness Training
Led by Ms. Mary Marlet Saladino of the Stairway Foundation, 13 Barangay workers and desk officers from West Crame and Corazon de Jesus attended an intensive, full-day session on preventing online sexual abuse and exploitation. The participants critically discussed real cases and debunked common misconceptions, demonstrating a renewed commitment to child protection.

Fatherhood: Ako Bilang Tatay
Facilitated by one of our volunteers, Bryan Fuentes, this session saw 8 fathers undergo a deep reflection on their roles as emotionally supportive and responsible figures. The activity encouraged participants to strengthen their father’s design and role as a husband and a father. This demonstrates responsible parenting within their homes.

Multi-Sectoral MOA Signing
We celebrated a landmark milestone by renewing our partnership with five strategic organizations: West Crame Elementary School, Inquirer Academy, Barangay West Crame, Barangay Corazon de Jesus, and our newest partner, Manila Business College. This formal agreement harmonizes the efforts of the public, private, and faith-based sectors to ensure continued support for 206 local families.

ASMPH Medical Mission
On March 26, the Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health (ASMPH) and Right Start came together under the inspiring theme “Right Start, Right Health” to deliver essential medical services to the community. This collaborative mission was fueled by the energy of 30 ASM student volunteers, working seamlessly alongside 5 Doctors and Specialists and 2 Dentists to ensure every individual received expert attention. Throughout the day, the team provided high-quality care to 81 patients, proving that a “right start” in wellness begins with accessible, compassionate healthcare. It was a day of profound impact, reinforcing our collective goal of building a healthier, more resilient future for all.
