Meet Joey, a 22-year-old college graduate who has been part of the Right Start family since 2012.

In his testimonial, Joey shares the core values he learned at Right Start, including a deep relationship with God and, most importantly, humility. He explains how this humility now makes him “more confident” in his work and daily life.

He discusses how Taekwondo, his favorite activity, built his character and boosted his confidence.

Joey expresses deep gratitude for the “Suhay Tagumpay” educational assistance program and his sponsors, who supported him with allowances and tuition “since Grade 6… all the way to college”. He is thankful that “they did not give up on me” through his challenges.

He beautifully describes his realization that graduating from the programs was not an end, but “just the start” of his journey to give back—volunteering to coach Taekwondo and lead singing for the younger kids.

“To me, Right Start is a family,” he says.
